Camp Site

The camp site at Bua river Lodge is somewhat iconic in Malawi. There are still people in the country who remember staying there and fishing for Mpasa thirty years ago. It is located in the shade of some wonderful trees, right on the banks of the river.

Now the site has been upgraded, without spoiling its original charm, with level pitches for six tents (although more tents can be accommodated), hot showers and flushing toilets, a laundry area and a shaded deck with tables and camp chairs for meals and relaxation. The camp site will continue to be an integral part of Bua River Lodge. Campers are welcomed to join us in the lodge for meals or a drink.
